There's still time.....

Merriest Stripes Holiday Cards

There's still time if you order from Tiny Prints by tomorrow. That is the absolute last day to use their Super Rush shipping and guarantee delivery by Christmas Day.

Just because you are waiting until the last minute doesn't mean the cards have to be generic or boring. With Tiny Prints, even in the rush, you can take a few moments to personalize the cards. You can upload some pictures, change the font and text, and make your cards stand out, even if they arrive just in time.

Time to stand out in 2013

Be Merry New Year Cards

Here is a chance for you to stand out.

Everyone sends Christmas cards it seems. And they end up either piled up, lined up, or magnetized to the fridge with the countless other cards. None of them stand out.

But New Year's cards...those are unique, like you.

So why not send out some personalized New Year's wishes soon after Christmas is over? The type of card that everyone remembers and compliments you on. The type of card that you can only get from Tiny Prints.

Tiny Prints has over 250 designs to choose from, so you are sure to find one that is perfect for you. Then you can customize them by adding pictures, changing the font and text, and adding special features like rounded edges and matching address labels.

If you want to get the cheapest delivery, you need to order them soon (like today) so that you get them just after Christmas. That gives you plenty of time to write in them, address them, and get them to your recipients just after New Year's Day.

Trust me, these cards won't get piled up or lined up. They'll be in a class all by themselves.

Ordering couldn't be easier.

1. Visit Tiny Prints and choose from their 250+ New Year's card designs.
2. Once you have selected your favorite design, customize the card by adding pictures and changing the font and text to your liking.
3. Place your order (if you order today, be sure to use promo code DEC20SW to get 15+% off and code HOLFS to get free shipping off orders of $49 or more).

Your cards will arrive in 7-10 business days (faster with their speedier shipping options).

That's it. Ring in the New Year in a wonderful way and stand out!

Peppermint Candy Wreath

Well finally this weekend, I sat down and tackled making my first peppermint candy wreath!  I've had this on my to do list for the past two years and finally did it!!  This wreath was so easy to make and my daughter even assisted me in the project.  She was my little elf who unwrapped all of the peppermints!!  The total project took me a little less than 2 hours to make.  I found this great tutorial over at My Blessed Life and you can find the easy tutorial right here.   I did find that because the peppermints come in different sizes and shapes you have to watch the spacing of the peppermints and don't toss the odd shaped peppermints - you might need these little guys to fill in some odd spaces.   Next time, I make another peppermint wreath I will definitley spray the wreath with a clear glaze to seal the candies.  I didn't spray my wreath until the next day and the candies started to get really sticky!!

Burlap Halloween Banner Tutorial

I can't believe Halloween is just around the corner?  I have no idea where the summer went let alone September!!!  This past week I started pulling out the fall decorations and below is my Halloween burlap banner I made last fall for both of my fireplaces.

Want to make one?  It's so easy and inexpensive!!

Supplies:
Burlap - you can find this at your local fabric/craft store.
scissors
jute string
fabric paint
stencils
- I made mine on my cricut but you can also use word to enlarge the letter and print out to use as stencils.
hot glue
cut out your pennant pattern
ribbon if you would like to add

1)  Cut your burlap into the pennants and set aside
2)  Get your stencils and paint ready to stencil on your pennants
3)   Stencil your letters onto the burlap and set aside to dry.
4)  After the pennants have dried you will need to secure onto the jute string.  I secured mine with hot glue after I laid out the pennants and center them on my string.  Don't forget to leave extra string to hang your banner up.
5)  I added orange grosgrain ribbon between my letters for some extra flair and you can get as creative as you want!!

I cut a pennant pattern out of card stock by free hand and you can make your pennant any size you want!!

Happy Crafting!!!

{DIY} Bunny Tails Easter Treat

Can you believe Easter is this coming Sunday?  I can't believe how fast this year is flying right by us!  Since we are in Easter mode around my house, I thought I would share with you this cute idea I found over at eighteeen25 blog spot.  BUNNY TAILS!  I usually send my daughter to school with some treat to share with her friends at school and this year as soon as I saw this bunny tail idea I knew what we were doing for our Easter treats!  Here are a few pictures of our bunny tail treat bags.

She started to sign her name with a crown next to it -
Do you think she thinks she's a princess?
- I asked her if that was the logo for Lilly she goes
NO!  I'm just adding my princess crown! lol

We used (4) large marshmallows in our bags because the large marshmallows in our bag looked so skimpy when we only put (2) in the snack bag.  Plus, then we used it as a counting activity - she had to count out the bags, count out (4) marshmallows, and then print her name 20 X's on the back of the cards.  By the time we were down with the 20 bunny tails - Lilly said this was a lot of work!!  It definitely entertained her this raining weekend ;)

So if  you are looking for a cute idea for  your classroom, easter brunch, or treats for the kids to take to school hop on over to eighteen25 and print off their cute party printable and follow the tutorial!  The link to download the templates can be found right here

Thanks eighteen25 for sharing this cute idea!!!
